Dr Culbert, is a bit of a newcomer to town, relatively speaking, as she’s only been here since 2006! Jodi moved here, after studying medicine at the University of Sydney, as an intern with a plan to stay for two years but found she enjoyed Wagga too much to leave. She undertook her training as a Specialist General Practitioner in both Wagga and Narrandera, and settled back into life in Wagga in early 2011 after attaining her full Fellowship as a Specialist GP.
Having previously studied and worked as a physiotherapist, Dr Culbert has a special interest in Musculoskeletal and Sports Medicine. She also has an interest in Family Health, Mental Health and Paediatrics.
As well as being a busy clinician, Dr Culbert is also committed to serving the broader medical and general Wagga Wagga community. Dr Culbert is a board member and director of the Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network and active on a number of its committees. She is also an active Medical Educator for the Clinical School at the Wagga Campus for the University of NSW.
Dr Culbert enjoys trying to find some time to kayak and dreaming up new creations for her wood-fired pizza oven.
