Keeping COVID safe

Covid changed our lives to a certain extent, and even now, we are still dealing with the fallout and a new, post pandemic, normal has evolved.

We have left our sneeze guards on the front counter to create a barrier to protect our administration staff - they still work!   Whilst the waiting room is mostly back to normal, there are still no magazines or toys, and there are bottles of hand sanitiser it seems on every surface.  We know that the screening questions our staff are still asking can feel invasive and probing, but it is so important that you answer carefully.  Covid is still very much around, and the doctors and our staff still can't work if they get it, so yes, we are still very vigilant.

We have implemented a variety of measures that enable us to help you depending on the circumstances.  If you are sick, we are still asking that you perform a RAT before coming into the rooms, and that you wear a mask.  If you are Covid positive, we are still doing telephone or video calls to limit the exposure to the doctors, our staff and other patients.  Often we still need to examine you, but by starting out on the phone, we know what measures need to be put in place before you arrive.

So many more of us are suffering with Mental Health issues since the Covid pandemic began and we are still seeing a major rise in stress related issues.  You do not have to soldier on and go it alone.  Your GP is an excellent place to start and we are here for you.  There are also many other services that are available online and via telephone, such as:
