Dr Thompson graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2006, and completed her internship and residency in Wagga Wagga. She pursued further training in paediatrics and mental health before commencing GP training, and enjoyed spending time in both metropolitan and regional areas throughout her GP training. She was very happy to settle back into regional life in Wagga once she achieved full recognition as a Specialist General Practitioner.
Dr Thompson loves the variety that General Practice offers and is committed to holistic care, & caring for family members of all ages. She joined RFM in 2018 and has a special interests in Children’s Health, Women’s Health, Mental Health, and well being throughout life.
In her free time, she enjoys juggling family life and being a mum, spending time outdoors, running & dabbling at the piano.
